After decades of serving up chips, salsa, and margaritas, Fiesta Villa is closing. The Mexican-themed restaurant’s last day is Saturday, May 7th, according to KX News.
Dale Zimmerman, owner of the historic former Northern Pacific Depot housing Fiesta Villa, plans to remodel and open two new restaurants on the site. Zimmerman already owns Peacock Alley, directly across the street, as well as 40 Steak+Seafood.
Fiesta Villa opened in Mandan in 1978. The building was built in 1900 to replace the former passenger depot, which was destroyed in the 1898 Fire. The site was formerly home to the Sheridan House, the first hotel owned by Edward Patterson.
