Bobcat is signaling its commitment to the Bismarck-Mandan area with the completion of a major renovation at its once-shuttered Bismarck plant.
Bobcat has unveiled its $6.5 million renovation project to the Bismarck factory located off 26th Street. After shuttering the plant in 2009, laying off over 400 workers, Bobcat has since pumped new life into the long-term factory, bringing in over 600 jobs to the capital city.
The company insists that these renovations and new jobs are evidence that the company is here to stay.
Founded in Gwinner, North Dakota, Bobcat has maintained a Bismarck presence since 1974. It was purchased by Doosan Infrastructure in 2007.
