The Bismarck Police department is asking for the public’s help with the investigation of an aggravated assault.
On Saturday January 25th at about 7:30 PM, Christopher Williamson, 34, was found severely beaten by the railroad tracks, 2500 block of Railroad Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital where he remains in Intensive Care.
The investigation shows the victim had been walking in the area of south 26th Street near the railroad tracks with an unknown person about ½ hour before he was found. Both the victim and this other person were wearing heavy winter Carhartt style coveralls.
Anyone with information about the identity of the other person is asked to call Bismarck Police Department at 223-1212. To report information anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 224-TIPS (224-8477).
Williamson is from California, but was a homeless person living in the Bismarck area.
