Steve Marquardt has announced intentions to enter the race for Bismarck City Commission, which has two seats opening this June, including that held by departing Commissioner Brenda Smith.
Marquardt has served on the Bismarck Public School Board for eight years, including serving twice as president. He has resided in Bismarck since 1989 and works for Twin City Implement.
Marquardt joins Duane Pool, who announced last week, and current Commissioner Josh Askvig in the Commission race.
