Bismarck Airport has announced that, beginning October, American Airlines will begin offering direct flights to and from Dallas and Chicago.
The Bismarck Airport, among several other North Dakota airports, has seen repeated record boardings over the past few years, also adding Frontier and United in recent years. Delta and Allegiant also serve the area.
United Airlines had dropped Chicago flights in 2012.
