The Bismarck Tribune is reporting that La Tejana Mexican Market will be moving into the long-vacant former Best Stop convenience store, which is located at the intersection of Boulevard Avenue & 14th Street.
La Tejana will be a Hispanic product-themed convenience store and will be open 7am-7pm seven days a week.
The Best Stop store closed in 2012 due to insufficient business. The convenience store, which was formerly a Kroger-brand Mini-Mart, had closed once prior to re-opening as Best Stop. Recently, Ruth Meiers tried to open a soup kitchen, but was denied due to strong neighborhood opposition.
