The Bismarck City Commission has adopted a new ordinance that bans parking in downtown alleys. According to their press release, “parking has been an increasing problem for the businesses and the department for an extended time.”
Warnings will be issued until December 1. After this deadline, each violation will carry a $10 fine.
Temporary parking for loading and deliveries will still be allowed.
