UPDATE (11:30am): Bismarck Police have released additional details on the robbery and suspect. According to a press release, the alleged suspect is identified as 23-year-old Efrain Knowles, of Bismarck. Knowles allegedly brandished a handgun hidden in his sweatshirt pocket during the robbery.
Police were able to match the description of the suspect to an individual who recently took a taxi ride from Holiday Inn Express to an apartment off Koch Drive. Entry was made into the apartment using a “smoke bang device.”
Bismarck Police apprehended the alleged suspect of an armed robbery late last night.
On December 10 at about 8pm, Police responded to an armed robbery at Papa Murphy’s, located at 1725 Mapleton Ave in northern Bismarck.
According to a press release, “Witnesses told police, a male entered the store, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then left this location with an undisclosed amount of cash.”
Investigation lead to a quick identity of the suspect. After a search of his residence, the individual was located and taken into custody.
