City of Bismarck Website and Email Addresses to Change
BISMARCK, N.D. – Effective June 2, the City of Bismarck web site address will change to www.bismarcknd.gov. Visitors to the former web site address www.bismarck.org will be automatically redirected to the new web site for a limited period of time. The City asks that everyone who has saved the City of Bismarck web site address to their favorites, update the information to include the new www.bismarcknd.gov website address.
City of Bismarck e-mail addresses are also changing. New email addresses for city employees will change to name@bismarcknd.gov. The e-mail address changes will take place over the next thirty to sixty days. Those sending e-mail messages to City employees at the former name@nd.gov e-mail address will be automatically redirected to the new e-mail address for a limited period of time. The City asks that everyone who sends e-mail messages to City employees, when notified, update their contact information as these changes take place to assure message delivery.
The City of Bismarck made the determination to “move to the cloud” to enhance productivity and to help staff manage increasing volumes of communications across multiple devices. This affords staff the ability to work together more effectively as teams by having all employees on one exchange server improving access and efficiency.
