A suspicious trailer home fire yesterday has lead to the arrest of a 49-year-old Mandan Man for Class AA felony murder and Class B felony arson, KX News reports. Rodney H. Friesz is due in court on the charges this afternoon.
Mandan Fire responded to the fire at 1:55pm yesterday afternoon. After extinguishing the fire, authorities discovered a body inside. According to the KX News article, Mandan Police have indicated that the victim was shot in the head before the home was set on fire.
The trailer home is located in the Parktown Trailer Court, which was the scene of another murder in 2012.
