Judge Bruce Romanick has denied a request made on behalf of 49-year-old Rodney Friesz to reduce his bond to $100,000 from $250,000. Romanick cited public safety as the reason for denial.
Friesz is accused of killing his neighbor and then setting the mobile home on fire with the body inside earlier this month. He is facing murder and arson charges for the crime.
