Bismarck Police are asking the public for help in identifying a short-change scam artist. On October 26 at about 4:00pm, the suspect cashed a check made out to “Willie Williams” and swindled a Walmart cashier out of an extra $100.
In addition to the false name, the suspect pocketed a $100 bill and claimed that the cashier shorted him. The cashier didn’t discover the theft until reviewing the security footage.
The incident happened at the north Walmart.
