Bismarck Parks and Recreation is the city’s official park system governing board. It was established as the Bismarck Park Board in 1927.
Custer Park was the first official park organized by the board, followed by Riverside (Sertoma), Kiwanis, Hillside Park (Lions), Pioneer Park, and Sibley Island Park.
