A 77-year-old man was killed after his Bobcat skidsteer was struck by a BNSF train. The incident happened about 15 miles west of Mandan, on Country Road 83, at around 1:40pm this afternoon.
According to BNSF, the train was hauling 121 cars and traveling at around 30 MPH at the time. The train remained on the tracks and no one aboard was injured.
The investigation is continuing and the victim’s name has not yet been released.
