Bearscat Bakehouse is a bakery and restaurant owned by Kevin and Tina Cavanagh that succeeded The Donut Hole in 2012. It has three North Dakota locations in Bismarck, Mandan, and Minot, as well as a location in Salem, Oregon.
The Donut Hole opened at 600 E Main Street in Mandan. The venture was a partnership that included the owners of Dickinson’s Baker Boy. A Bismarck location follows in 1981. Today, it is known as Bearscat Bakehouse.
A different Donut Hole opened in 2021 at 931 South 9th Street.
