Cock ‘N Bull was a short-lived restaurant. It was a re-brand of its predecessor, Dakota Burgers, which opened at 302 S 9th Street in 1989 (American Family Insurance, as of 2017… formerly Keichla Korner and Sakura).
Cock ‘N Bull was established after moving into the building at the corner of 9th & Expressway, when Wendy’s temporarily vacated. In contrast to Dakota Burgers, a fast food restaurant, the restaurant format changed to a 24-hour diner serving an expanded menu that also included breakfast, seafood, beer, and wine.
Both restaurants were owned by Myron and Vonnie Glatt. It is unconfirmed if there is any relation to Jim Glatt, owner of the local Wendy’s franchise.
Wendy’s, again, occupies the building in 1993 when it replaces Cock ‘N Bull.
