Green Tree Square was a shopping center venture in downtown Bismarck. It was established in 1978 upon converting the former Dakota National Bank building at 212 N 4th Street. It featured a tree-lined promenade designed to house up to 8 tenants.
Magic Dragon, Weeda’s, Charlie’s Art & Frame Shop, Special People Inc., The Wood N Candle Shoppe, ID Realty, Ivy’s Deli, and Pudwill’s Prairie West Casuals were early tenants.
The building ceased as a shopping center in 1985 or 1986.
