Stamart is a Fargo-based chain of convenience stores that once maintained three local locations. Its travel center and truck stop is the only Stamart location still operating locally.
Prairie Oasis Travel Center
The remaining Stamart Travel Center, at 3936 E Divide Ave, originated in March 1993 as the Prairie Oasis Truck Stop (owned by Stamart). It is a 16,000+ square-foot truck stop and convenience store that also houses Marlin’s Family Restaurant (originally Oasis Restaurant) and Cheap Shots Sports Grill.
Jet Stores
Stamart’s former Mandan store at 1300 E Main Street and its Bismarck store on the northwest corner of State Street and Divide Avenue formerly operated under the Jet banner. Stamart acquired Jet Stores from Conoco in 1993 and re-branded them. The stores were extensively remodeled. Specifically, the Bismarck store converted Jet’s former service station into a liquor store. Indoor cafe-style seating was also added.
Prior to Jet, the stores operated under the Western Food Stores banner, also a Conoco brand.
Both locations became Petro Serve USA stores in 2010.
