Santa’s Surplus Toy and Git Outlet was a locally-owned seasonal toy store. The store only operated around the Christmas holiday season, at various locations.
It first opened at Northbrook Mall in 1985. It remained operating from various spaces within Northbrook until at least 1989, when it occupied the recently closed Red Owl/Freshmart Foods store. It was later housed at Capitol Lanes Plaza.
It remained operational until at least 1992.
