St. Mary’s Central Carnival is an annual fund-raising festival held at its namesake high school.
The event has been an annual tradition since the first carnival February 20-23, 1952 in celebration of the new high school’s grand opening. The first carnival attracted approximately 5,000 visitors.
The carnival boasts a “midway” with numerous games and activities, along with a dinner and Sunday brunch.
