Sunset Terrace Plaza was a planned enclosed regional shopping mall near Mandan’s Sunset Drive interchange. Announced on July 18, 1974, the 84,000-square foot mall was to be two levels and cost an estimated $1.6-$3 million. Floyd Boutrous was a chief investor. Efforts continued until at least 1982 but never came to fruition.
A similar mall development called Terra Vallee was later planned nearby.
