T. Clem Casey was a prominent real estate agent and developer. He is best remembered for opening Arrowhead Plaza in 1953, which was Bismarck’s first shopping center, and the first mall in North Dakota by some counts.
In many ways, Casey developed Arrowhead as an anchor for his nearby housing developments. He also owned 53 acres of land in north Bismarck, where The Ramada (Doublewood Inn) and Hardee’s are now located.
Casey was 67 when he died in June 1970.
