Bismarck-based Midwest Business Systems has been acquired by Marco, a Saint Cloud, MN-based IT consulting firm. Midwest Business Systems (MBS) employs 27 individuals, who will be retained.
In addition to Bismarck, MBS also has offices in Minot, Devils Lakes, Dickinson, Williston, and Jamestown. Marco already has a presence in Fargo and Grand Forks, employing 36 in those respective cities.
This is the fifth acquisition over just a five-month period. Marco was founded in 1973 and is employee-owned.
