The still relatively new Fireflour Pizza is already expanding its downtown footprint. Fireflour will be doubling its size after taking over the former Sandra Lee’s Jewelry, Purses and More space.
The expanded restaurant will be able to seat 40 patrons inside and 20 on its sidewalk seating. Fireflour will also be adding a Dogwood Coffee bar along with an expanded selection of bakery items.
Fireflour first setup shop as a mobile wood-fired pizza vendor in June 2012, which had included a location just outside Bearscat Bakehouse each Friday. The restaurant opened its permanent downtown location in November 2012.
Sandra Lee’s has occupied the space since 2011.
