A fire sprinkler flooded a Mandan apartment yesterday after a resident fired a .45-caliber gun, hitting the sprinkler head. The bullet also caused a bulge in the neighboring unit’s wall, but did not completely push through.
The case has been forwarded to the state’s attorney for possible charges.
